Keynote speakers
Cailin McGurk is a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Healthcare Advisory team with 20 years of Investment Banking Experience. She has broad deal experience spanning public and private market M&A, equity and debt transactions. Ms. McGurk joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 having previously held similar roles at UBS and J.P. Morgan. Prior to her career in investment banking, Ms. McGurk qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Cape Town and practiced medicine in South Africa.
Professor of Operations and Technology Management at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. His research and teaching activities focus on the innovation process in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Aris co-authored the book: “From Breakthrough to Blockbuster: The Business of Biotechnology” (Oxford University Press, 2022) which has been short-listed by the Financial Times and is now in its third printing. His research has also been presented in numerous academic and industry conferences, has won multiple awards, and has been published in the flagship journals of management.
In addition to his academic work, he has advised start-ups and collaborated on research projects with the biopharmaceutical industry.
